Amber Michelle Sutherland
Amber has always been known to do whatever it takes to succeed in all aspects of life. Some of her core strengths include exceptional written and verbal communication, time management, multi-tasking ability, achievement of goals and proficiency in all Microsoft Office and Business applications. Amber is also a Certified Personal Trainer and Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
As a 2008 graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, Amber participated in high level competitive volleyball on a full-ride scholarship. Some of Amber's highlights & accolades include being named preseason All-Big 12 her junior year, leading C.U. in kills with 456 in a single-season and first C.U. player since 1997 to reach the 35 kill mark, which is the third-highest total in C.U. history. She has also been named the Big 12 Player of the Week and the C.U. Athlete of the Week, as well as being named to several All-Big 12 honorable mention & academic teams and All-Tournament teams.
Amber grew up in Colorado and enjoys outdoor activities, being around her family and friends, going to the park with her Boston Terrier "Trixie" to play ball and volunteering her time to the youth community and those in need.
