Megan Wallin

Megan Wallin is a Professional Beach Volleyball player residing in Florida. Child hood nick-name “Snapper”, she was raised in a commercial fishing family. Megan is known on the court as an aggressive dominant player who loves to compete. Her 6'3 stature and loud voice on the beach are a couple of her recognizable traits. As she enters her sixth year as a pro, Megan has 35 tournaments under her belt and will look to make a push toward the winner’s podium in 2012 with partner Chara Harris. 2011 highlights: highest hitting percentage; captured 3rd place finish at an NVL Tour event; two 5th place finishes in Corona Wide Open Tour events; two 5th place finishes in Jose Cuervo Tour events; and went undefeated on the EVP tour in 2011.

Will Robbins

At 6' 5" and 230lbs, Will "The Thrill" Robbins has the perfect blend of bone crushing power and sweet sophistication that has made him a feared legend throughout the Midwest, and most of the country. After a brief career at collegiate indoor volleyball powerhouse IPFW, and an 8 year sabbatical, William rebounded back onto the national scene in 2009,with several top finishes on multiple beach tours before heading overseas to play professionally indoors in the middle east.

William returned stateside after leading his team in kills, aces, and hitting percentage, where he now runs Pro Beach ONE Beach Volleyball Club, which he founded in 2012, and is the Assistant General Manager and Beach Director at the multi-million dollar Sports Facility, SportONE/Parkview Fieldhouse, in between traveling the country for beach and indoor events.

Chara Harris

Known for her sarcastic and fun personality, Chara Harris is a professional beach volleyball player based out of Sarasota, FL. In 2011 Chara was awarded with high acclaim the “Best Butt on Tour” title. Chara and her partner, Megan Wallin are ranked in the top ten and have finished as high as 3rd on the pro tours. Known to always live life with no regrets, Chara and Megan are putting everything on the table this year to become the best beach volleyball players and people that they can be.

Jeff Steffens "Jefe"

Nicknamed by his teammates "Jefe". Known for his nasty jump serve and crafty plays at the net. Jeff has been an All-League Outside Hitter for two consecutive years in a row. He is the three time Team MVP for Sacramento State University Hornets, 2011-2013. He received Honorable Mention All American Outside Hitter for D1 NCVF leading his team to 9th in the nation for his Senior year. He currently resides in Sacramento California and attends Sacramento State as a Senior. At 6', Jeff is Sac State's Team Captain as well as Outside Hitter. Jeff Steffens is not only known for being an incredible volleyball player indoors but outdoors as well. He received his CBVA AAA in 2010 and is also one of the top Northern California grass players. He travels up and down the west coast to compete in tournaments ranging from indoor, grass as well as beach. He is always playing and training to achieve the next victory and achievement.

Priscilla Lima

Born and raised in beautiful Rio de Janeiro, Priscilla “nicknamed Pri” is a force to be reckoned with in Beach volleyball. As a professional beach volleyball player, Pri won her very first award in beach volleyball at the end of the 2009 season as the AVP’s Most Improved Player and the list doesn't stop there. She has placed in the top 3 in a number of tournaments, brings a powerful intensity to each game and is very exciting to watch. Pri has beaten great names in volleyball like Holly McPeak, Misty May-Treanor, Kerri Walsh, Elaine Youngs, Nicole Bragnah & many more around the world. Pri's goal is to be a positive image in people's lives, live life to the fullest and help others along the way.

Brian Bomgren * aka The "Bomber Brothers"

Hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota Brian is a well rounded player who can do it all. He has been contending on the beach for the past 5 seasons and has had increasing success with each season. He is an athlete with excellent technique throughout all parts of his game and at 6'2" plays like a much larger opponent. His ball control, tough serves and tremendous defense are definitely something to look out for. He and his brother Tim have forged a legit partnership for the past three summers.

Tarin Keith

Tarin was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. She graduated from UNLV with a bachelors in Business marketing. She received both academic and athletic scholarship to play volleyball, garnering numerous accolades throughout her career. She made the move to southern California in April of 2005 to pursue her dreams of becoming a beach volleyball player. That dream came true in Chicago 2007, when she qualified for her 1st AVP main draw appearance and has never looked back. She has won multiple tournaments and continues to improve her finishes every year, with two 9th place finishes at NVL events in 2011. Besides her success on the court, Tarin works with an SEO and web presence development firm in New York. She also utilizes these skills to develop her own presence in the volleyball community, establishing a solid fan base throughout the nation.

Tim Bomgren * aka The "Bomber Brothers"

Hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota this young lefty has only been playing beach for 3 years. He is a very entertaining player to watch & extremely talented. At 6'4" Tim was a 3 time conference MVP and 4 time all American on his indoor team at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. He and his brother Brian have forged a legit partnership for the past three summers.

Majo Orellana * Guatemala

Born and raised in Guatemala, Majo started playing volleyball when she was just 9 years old. She played indoor volleyball for her National team since youth Norceca (North, Center and the Caribbean) Championships. Majo has been a professional beach volleyball player since 2001 and she has qualified and competed in 3 PanAm Games, was a 3 time Central American champion, and won a Norceca Bronze Medal in 2010. She was her national team captain from 1998 - 2006. Majo has trained with coaches from different nationalities like Japan, Taiwan, Peru and Cuba. In 2010 Majo started coaching, and founded the first Beach Volleyball Academy in Central America. She has taken beach and indoor seminars and is FIVB certified. She took the first Guatemalan team to participate in the Youth Beach Volleyball World Championships in July 2012. As an ambassador of several institutions for cancer prevention, drug and violence prevention and brain damage, Majo values awareness to youth. She gives lectures to kid’s schools, colleges and corporations and is also the image of different brands such as GNC, Oakley, Movistar, Centro Medico. She also practiced gymnastics, softball, soccer, cycling, squash, badminton and MMA.

Ryan Stafford * 300

Ryan Stafford, nick-named “300” for his Greek God-like physique, transitions to the beach scene during the off-season from the indoor European professional volleyball league where he has played in Puerto Rico, Germany, Austria, and France. Ryan was a 2008 NAIA National Champion, 2-time All-American, 2012 France Pro B Champion, as well as a WABDL CA State Deadlift Champion who holds a NSCA-CSCS certification. Ryan is a loud, aggressive and physical player with an attack reach of 11'6 1/2". He lives by his personal decree of "All or Nothing".

Laryssa Mereszczak

Laryssa developed a love for the game of Volleyball at a very young age. She grew up in a family of players and her dad started peppering with her around the age of 6. She was instantly hooked. As a 4 year starter at Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho Laryssa finished her Senior year 3rd in digs/per game in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference and was also a 3 year GNAC All-Academic Winner. It had always been a dream of Laryssa’s to move to California and play on the beach, and in 2008 she was able to make that dream a reality. In her career as a pro beach player Laryssa qualified for the AVP 3 times in her first year competing, has been ranked in the top 50 for the past two years on the USAV Beach National Rankings and finished the 2012 season with a win at the NVL Motherlode in Aspen, CO. Being the shortest player on her team in college and also one of the shorter players to compete out on the pro beach tour, Laryssa has been given the nickname “mighty-mouse” for having a will-to-win that is much bigger than the size of her frame.

Christopher McDonald * Fly' n Hawaiian

Christopher McDonald is a Pro Beach Volleyball player who plays with passion during every point. Nicknamed the "Flyn'Hawaiian", he is a dynamic player with a calculated aggression behind every point he plays – spectacular diving and digging makes him a "must watch" player. The "Flyn' Hawaiian" hooked up with team mate Ryan "300" Stafford in 2011 and began his quest for the finals in every tournament. Christopher has been named KINeSYS Inc. Athlete of the week and is also a Levi Strauss & Co Fit Model. Dedicating his life to health and well being, he knows that at 5'11” tall you can measure size, but you can't measure heart. CBVA (California Beach Volleyball Association) accomplishments: 5th place in Santa Monica Open 2011, 3rd place in CBVA Huntington beach Open 2011, 3rd place in CBVA 2012 Marine Street, 4th place in CBVA Santa Monica and 4th place in CBVA Santa Cruz.

Larissa Witherspoon

Larissa Witherspoon is a PRO Beach Volleyball athlete! She was born in Buffalo , NY but grew up in Ormond Beach , FL. Larissa graduated from Lynn University in Boca Raton , FL. She was appointed captain her senior year leading the knights into their best season through 2006. In 2006, Larissa Witherspoon became the first player in program history to amass over 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs in a career. After graduating in 2007, she plays Professional Beach Volleyball on the EVP/AVP/Dig the Beach circuit in South Florida . She has played in four professional tournaments so far this year and has finished in the top 5 in all of them. Larissa is a very explosive player that displays great athleticism in every match that she plays. Her energy on and off the court captures fans from all over the map.

Jorge Martinez

Meet the young, skilled prodigy from Albuquerque, NM. Jorge is an emerging beach volleyball player of 3 years with many top place finishes & an illustrious indoor player of 10 years. His indoor career includes being named to the All-out Tournament Team twice at Junior Nationals, and 1st place finishes at State and Regional levels in Mexico. With an explosive and energetic style of play, Jorge can elevate & crush as well as cover the court masterfully. At 6' tall he competes with bigger players by use of his great court vision and speed on defense. Jorge is also a talented musician and slightly addicted to tattoos!

Jeff Samuels * Mcfly

Jeff Samuels is one of the young guns in the future of beach volleyball. At 6'3" and equipped with "boosties" for legs, he has 40+ inches of lift out of the sand. It's a common occurrence to witness Jeff (Nick-named Jetty Mcfly by his family) KILL (aka murder) a volleyball. The former college lacrosse standout also won gold in the 2006 lacrosse games in London, Canada.

As a Michigan native, Jeff splits time between there and the beaches of San Diego, CA. It was a move inspired by trips to the OTC (US Olympic training center) for high performance training in Chula Vista, CA. The Michigan State Spartan helped kick-off Voolii's South America Premier Event in Puerto Gáitan, Colombia in January 2012. There he partnered with Dana Camacho and took a 4th place finish for the USA. Despite only playing volleyball just 4 years, Jeff is avidly looking forward to having a sick breakout in this 2013 season. Boom!
